Fantastic hotel, great atmosphere and superb restaurant. Best food we've had in two weeks traveling Scotland. Spacious family room, fair prices. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Falls of Lora is a great local independent hotel & restaurant. It's quaint and traditional but friendly and welcoming. It's located about 5 miles out of Oban and it overlooks Loch Etive and the Connel Bride. It's on the bus route into Oban as well as near the Connel Ferry train station. The restaurant was refurbished earlier in the year and the rooms are simple and clean.

A hotel of former glory. Now 3-star. A bit tired.Slowly improving. But, great staff; food and bistro. Immaculate housekeeping for the room.

Stayed one night in cabin room. Shared bathroom. Clean room, spotless shared facility. Comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Free parking. Fitted the bill perfectly.

Hotel staff were VERY helpful in providing us with a night's accommodation at short notice after Calmac Ferries left us stranded for the night. They also provided us with a breakfast pack as we needed to leave at 4am the next morning to catch an alternate ferry. And the meal in restaurant was excellent. The room was nice but quite challenging to get up 2 flights of stairs with luggage for us oldies !

We had a evening meal three days running .The front of house staff were excellent, friendly and professional and the food was perfect.Presented nicely on the plate. Generous portion size and cooked perfectly for us. Highly recommend a visit.

Nice rooms, dog friendly and lovely decor throughout the hotel. But I especially have to point out how absolutely nice the employees are. Our car broke down during our stay and the employees we asked for help absolutely went out of their way to help us and we are eternally grateful. They helped us call a car repair, blocked a room for the night in case we needed to stay there an additional night and in the end also held on to the car keys when we had to leave in order to somehow get back home. We will definitely stay here again as soon as we’re back!
